3/23/09 - Did you really believe it would happen?

Yesterday we mapped out the starting schedule:

• remedial work to ensure that the floor doesn’t fall out of the kitchen this week,
  
• power-washing the garage walls to see how much more remediation is needed next weekend
• strengthening the columns and side walls to hold the building up along with off-site fabrication of the new stairway and parts of the elevator shaft and building a new sheetrock wall to separate our living quarters from the construction zone roughly 4/6 – 4/17
• demolition of the old stairway and cutting a hole in the floor for the elevator roughly 4/20-...
