Elevator passed inspection!

The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. I can't believe D went off site for the drop test! (when the inspectors load the elevator with lead weights and send it into freefall to see if the brakes hold).

Everything's on hold while D takes a much deserved break for the annual Florida golf week. There's still a short list of items to complete before we can move furniture and storage upstairs, so I'm not doing anything with the project either (except yoga with friends in the sun-filled playroom).
