Without a kitchen for the last few weeks (and a few more weeks to come), we've been trying out local restaurants and leaning on friends. We're learning how to find each other (intercoms), the light switches, and our wallets. Charlie adjusted quickly to life upstairs (he's banned from the dust and debris of the 2nd floor, and therefore can't access the garden). He doesn't mind hanging out on the new roofs off the 3rd floor, and he really loves drinking water from in the new shower!

Our early worries about the shower have been calmed. For the first two weeks it was like showering outdoors - pretty, but chilly no matter how hot the water. Then DR installed etched glass to separate the bathroom and bedroom and partially separate the shower from the rest of the bathroom. Now, one can actually work up a pleasant steam.
