Breaking through

Quick highlights of the past week:

Breaking through the second storey floor and ceiling. These are just peepholes down into the garage and up into the sky, so the workers and engineers could confirm what they'll be dealing with in the area of the elevator shaft and stairway to-be.

Clearing debris (formerly parapets, see last post) off the roof, via an eco-friendly yellow chute.

Excavating the elevator pit in earnest.







And today's excitement, the magical delivery of HVAC equipment to the roof of the old elevator shaft. Friends will have to come over to see the dramatic 50-frame slide show. What's that, an HVAC system - as in air conditioning?! No more 95 degree nights in the loft? D is becoming soft...
